The Trinity County Fair has extended the deadline for entry forms for this year's fair. All exhibit entry forms are due no later than 5 p.m. Friday, July 27.

Be sure to have your envelopes postmarked by the post office as the deadline gets closer. You may also send your entry forms into the fair office by e-mail or fax. In addition, forms as well as exhibits may be dropped off at the Trinity County Chamber of Commerce, 509 Main St., Weaverville.

Exhibits are due by the dates listed in the premium book or on the digital premium book at www.trinitycountyfair.com. The fair runs Aug. 10-12.

► Participants are needed in the Fair Parade on Sunday, Aug. 12. There is no fee to enter. Contact Beth at the Fair Office.

► Buy pre-sale tickets until Aug. 8. Grandstand events (MV Raceway and Derby on Sunday, Aug. 12) are only $8. Save $1 a day on three-day wristbands. All-day, unlimited carnival rides are $20 per child per day.

► Volunteers are needed for the fair. Contact Carol Hickman at the Fair Office.

► Participants and vendors are needed for the annual Bigfoot Pro-Am BBQ Sept. 7-8. Contact the Fair Office.
