Deadline for submitting entries for the 2018 Trinity County Fair has been extended to Friday, June 27. Exhibits are due by the dates listed in the premium book or on the digital premium book at www.trinitycountyfair.com. The fair runs Aug. 10-12.

► Saturday, July 28, the Jr. Livestock Committee hosts the annual workday at the Fairgrounds at 8 a.m. They will set up pens, repair as needed, and do some decorating.

► Participants are needed in the Fair Parade on Aug. 12. There is no fee to enter. Contact Beth at the Fair Office.

► Buy pre-sale tickets until Aug. 8. Grandstand events (MV Raceway and Derby) are only $8. Save $1 a day on three-day wristbands. All-day, unlimited carnival rides are $20 per child per day. The fair receives 100 percent of the proceeds of all carnival pre-sale tickets, and nothing for the same tickets sold at the fair.

► Volunteers are needed for the fair. Contact Carol Hickman at the Fair Office.

► Parking at the fair is free this year for everybody, thanks to sponsors Red Bluff Dodge, Growing Wild, and the Dinsmore Store.

► Participants and vendors are needed for the annual Bigfoot Pro-Am BBQ on Sept. 7 and 8. Contact the Fair Office.

The Fair Office is located at the Trinity County Fairgrounds in Hayfork. Phone 628-5223.
