Weekly

▶ Open mic night, 4 to 7 p.m. Thursdays at the Trinity County Brewing Company, Weaverville. Hosted by Yantra, starting up again on April 8.

▶ Weaverville Farmers Market, 4-7 p.m. every Wednesday, beginning May 19 or 26 through mid-October, Highland Art Center meadow, 691 Main St.

▶ Trinity Alps Golf Association, weekly 18-hole tournament every Friday morning at 10 a.m., weather permitting, Trinity Alps Golf Course in Weaverville. All golfers with an established handicap are welcome.

Monthly

▶ Monthly Art Cruise, downtown Weaverville, 5 to 8 p.m. the first Saturday of each month. Receptions for featured artists, refreshments.

▶ “Summer in the Park,” 4 to 7 p.m. the second Saturday of each month, June through September, Hayfork Park.

April 10: Flea Market in the Fairgrounds parking lot, Hayfork, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., plus the COVID Face Mask Egg Toss.

April 17: 12th annual Trinity County Plant and Seed Exchange, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the historic Young Family Ranch in Weaverville. This year, in compliance with CDC protocols to socially distance, all who attend the event will need to sign up for a time slot. April 23-25: Countywide Yard Sale organized by The Trinity Journal.

April 24: Test & Tune and Eduro, 3 p.m. practice, 7 p.m. Enduro, Mountain Valley Raceway, Trinity County Fairgrounds, Hayfork.

May 13-16: Trinity VintageFest (Vintage Trailer Rally), Trinity County Fairgrounds, 6000 Highway 3; 628-5223.

May 15: Mountain Valley Raceway season opener, Trinity County Fairgrounds, Hayfork.

June 5: AERC Ruth ride.

June 12-26: The 2021 LaGrange Classic Mountain Bike Race will be virtual this year; racers select their own day and start time within the race window and record their ride using the phone application, Strava. Aug. 12-15: Trinity County Fair 100th Anniversary at the Fairgrounds in Hayfork, down-home country fair with junior livestock auction, exhibits, car racing, destruction derby, quilt show, games.

Aug. 14: Mountain Valley Raceway Clyde Cordell Memorial-Fair Race, Trinity County Fairgrounds, Hayfork.

Sept. 4: Mountain Valley Raceway Race #8, Trinity County Fairgrounds, Hayfork.

Oct. 23: Weaverville Witches Brigade, 2 p.m., wicked ride through town. Witches assemble with bikes at 1:30 p.m. at the Trinity County Library, Weaverville. With passport, participating businesses offering tricks and treats from the library down to Tangle Blue Saloon.

Nov. 7: Daylight-saving time ends at 2 a.m.

Nov. 25: THANKSGIVING DAY

Nov. 25: Free Community Thanksgiving Dinners, Weaverville and Hayfork.

Nov. 26: Mountain Magic Christmas, 1 to 8 p.m. in decorated Weaverville. Shop owners stay open late, with refreshments and special prizes. Santa at the Bandstand.

Nov. 27: Lewiston Fireworks & Bridge Lighting, 3 to 7 p.m., fireworks usually about 5:30 p.m. Santa, food and craft vendors, music. www.lewistonsparkies.com or Katie at 778-3307.

Nov. 28 or Dec. 5: Hayfork Christmas Festival, including a visit from Santa Claus, Christmas tree lighting, music, caroling, holiday vendors and refreshments in the park at 3 p.m. After that it's the annual Light Parade at 5:45 p.m.

Dec. 25: CHRISTMAS DAY

Dec. 31: New Year’s Eve Dance and Party, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., North Fork Grange, 131 Dutch Creek Road, Junction City.
