The plays to be presented are “Understanding Lear,” a light-hearted look at Shakespeare’s “King Lear” by Joe Godfrey, starring Jeff Hall and Joe Hall; “Hotline” by Cheryl Navo starring Rob Richards, Angel McMorrow and Jim Gonzalez. This play examines a telephone hotline that purposes to release stress using socially inappropriate language only to find a caller who can’t swear; and “Fishing for Fate” by Dagney Collier starring Joanne Tucker, Jon Hanover and Bill Hinman, a 20-minute taxi ride gone wrong or right. The evening will be topped off with “Not My Cup of Tea,” by A.E. Groff, starring Kitty Wilson, Tara Russak and Tara Gwaltney. This dark comedy examines family relationships, life and death.
