Main Street Gallery

“French Quarter” by Stefani Thomas, an example of visual music at Main Street Gallery.

Three reasons to join the communitywide art invitational at Main Street Gallery in Weaverville as it hosts the March “Visual Music” painting and sculpture show.

REASON 3: You will have fun creating, making and selling your pieces.

REASON 2: You can listen to music while you create a major work (or three major works or three minor works.)

REASON 1: You can fill the hours with your creativity while waiting for your vaccination.

Remember the feeling as a child when your cares slipped away while concentrating on that finger painting of a rainbow or sunshine? Enjoy that feeling once again, express yourself artistically.

All ages are welcome to participate in this show.

Work can be in any non-perishable medium or mixed media.

There are no entry fees to encourage participation, but all pieces will be for sale. The gallery takes a percentage of the sale price to support organizing this and other shows throughout the year.

Contact: Hugh Ashley at 916-202-4154 for details and to answer any questions.

To enter, create an image or a sculpture somehow related to music. Imagine what you might create!

Timing is critical as the show opens March 6, but your work must be submitted by March 1.
