Spring is here and there is much to explore in the Trinity River watershed. Explore wildflowers, wildlife and watersheds on the Spring Nature Hike from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 18. Free lunch provided to those who sign up. Space is limited so RSVP by April 10. Meet at the East Weaver Campground. The trail is approximately 2 miles with uneven and steep terrain at times so come with appropriate footwear and a reusable water bottle.

This hike is led by Pat Frost, natural history instructor, and Dr. Susannah Fulton, botany professor at Shasta College, as well as other natural resource professionals and enthusiasts.

To RSVP by April 10 contact Elizabeth at Trinity County RCD, 623-6004 or esandoval@tcrcd.net

Sponsored by the Trinity River Restoration Program, Trinity County Resource Conservation District and Shasta College Foundation.

Health and safety is of most importance. This event is tentative on public health and safety recommendations and policies regarding COVID-19. If this event is canceled for April 18, RCD will try to reschedule more nature hikes for 2020.
