Fourth of July morning run set

This Fourth of July morning lace up your walking or running shoes to join in the annual Fun Run. Both the 2½-mile and 5-mile courses loop through the scenic Weaver Bally trails behind Trinity High School. Walkers and runners of all ages are invited to join; you will be done in plenty of time for the parade.

Pre-register at Main Street Shoes, 521 Main St, Weaverville. Help us streamline the race start time by swinging by Main Street Shoes during their business hours, and pick up your race number, sign your waiver and order a T-shirt, too.

The event is rain or shine, at 8 a.m., and starts and finishes at the Trinity High School track. Race-day registration begins at 7:15 a.m. at the THS track. Awards are given to the overall winners and age-group winners of each race. All proceeds benefit Trinity High School athletics.

Organizers thank you for supporting our local student-athletes.

THS alumni: ‘Come run with the Pack’
