The Trinity High School Athletic Booster Club is holding a Calcutta Saturday, April 25, to benefit the Sober Grad Party and the Senior Class Trip. The event starts at 5 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Hall, Weaverville.
Once again two local women have accepted the challenge to walk 60 miles in three days to honor those who are in the fight or lost their battle with breast cancer. The walk takes place in San Diego Nov. 20-22.

The North Fork Grange 2015 scholarship dinner, musical comedy and silent action will be held at the Grange Hall, Dutch Creek Road in Junction City, on April 4. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a sneak preview of auction items followed by the comedy show featuring “The Head Cheerleader’s 60th Birthday” and the Junction City School cheerleaders with dinner following.
The Junction City Fire Jills will be hosting a pre-Easter Ukrainian Egg design class from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. March 7 at the community hall in Junction City. All levels of expertise are welcome, and they encourage those of you who have never tried this form of wax resist to experience this amazing way to decorate Easter eggs.
