The bus is back! After a few months of searching, the Roderick Senior Center was able to find a new (to us) bus, so we can get back into a regular routine of offering rides to seniors who need help getting around town. If you need a ride to the grocery store, or to a doctor appointment or other errands, just give us a call (530-628-4692) by 11 a.m. on the day you need a ride and our driver, Darla, will come and pick you up.
We will have two openings on our Board of Directors. If you are interested, contact us or send a letter of intent detailing your background and qualifications. The board is looking for candidates that are community-minded with a background in accounting and bookkeeping. Our board is very active and participates in fundraising, grant writing and securing services for seniors in the greater Hayfork Valley. We are a friendly group that always finds a way to have a good time.
