Two hundred unmarked graves in the Hayfork Cemetery will be getting granite identification markers, thanks to some generous donations. A business that does countertops donated the granite. After Dr. John Kizziar cut them to size, they were taken to Advance Monument to get engraved. These markers will be set in concrete skirting this Sunday. The Hayfork Cemetery needs volunteers to carry the markers and work the concrete. If you can help, show up at the cemetery at 9 a.m. on the 27th. Even if you don’t have any experience working with concrete, you will still be a huge help.
