The Trinity County Association of Realtors has installed its new officers.

Local Realtors not only help folks sell or buy a home, a business or other adventurous endeavor, these individuals also help protect communities’ need for representation in the ongoing rise in home owners insurance, construction costs and oversight, rent caps and many other national, state and local proposals, bills and legislation — costs that could end up causing financial burden on our residents. They create jobs through home inspections, pest inspections, well, sewer and lot line reports, clean up and repair work. And let’s not forget they help keep the Planning Department busy checking on improvements and permits.

The association would like to thank all members of the community who helped collecting donations for the Animal Shelter. Trinity AOR collected $160, a bag of food and numerous toys for the Hayfork Spay and Neuter program. It also raised $200 for the Trinity Animal Shelter Auxiliary for the adorable, adoptable pets at the shelter. Consider making one of those pets a part your family today. The shelter has an abundance of kittens right now.
