A free workshop, “Fine Tuning Your Marketing Strategy,” is set for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 11.

This workshop will provide attendees with an introduction into the various elements under the “Marketing Mix” — often referred to as the “7 Ps of Marketing” (products, places, prices, promotions, people, packaging and positioning), clears up the roles of each of them and how they all work together to support a marketing plan.

The workshop, which runs to 7 p.m., will also touch on the misconceptions between advertising, branding, public relations and other functions that are used to reach customers, drive sales and make those cash registers ring.

The workshop will be held on the Shasta College Trinity campus, 30 Arbuckle Court, Room 1531, Weaverville.

Registration deadline is 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 11.
