After a change of ownership, Northern Delight’s new owner, Shawn Hill, says that so far business has been great, and a new owner of the old Nor El Pom building is looking to reopen the building as a natural food coop.

The coffeeshop reopening was covered just before Northern Delight’s Sept. 12 reopening (The Trinity Journal, “Northern Delights looks to reopen,” Sept. 7). The story was placed in the paper sandwiched between another story covering Hayfork businesses, many of which shared stories of either a shrinking customer base or lower or more cautious spending from some of their regulars (The Trinity Journal, “Hayfork businesses struggling,” Sept. 7).
