The Trinity County Chamber of Commerce held its annual membership meeting on Wednesday, March 10, at the Trinity Alps Golf Course and Restaurant. The membership elected its 2021-2023 board of directors.
Elected are Wayne Agner, Trinity Journal; Kevin Cahill, State Farm Insurance; Ryan Cinelli, Lakeview Terrace Resort; Travis Finch, Velocity Communication; Paul Hauser, Trinity Public Utilities District; John Letton; Ben Reed, White Stump BBQ; Dana Steinhauser, Trinity River Rafting; Scott Watkins, Buildaberg; and Pat Zugg, Trinity County Information Services (Visitor Center). Following the board election, the board appointed its corporate officers: Travis Finch, president; Scott Watkins, vice president; Kelli Gant, acting treasurer and secretary.
The chamber welcomed its newest member, Peter Key of Key Introductions. The chamber maintains an online members Market Place directory at trinitycounty.com/members.
The membership was updated on the chamber’s current membership drive and the $5,000 grant received from the California COVID-19 Relief program. The grant will help the chamber cover revenue losses incurred by the board decision to give all 2020 members six month of complimentary membership.
The members and directors concluded the evening with a discussion about future full chamber mixers at member businesses and how the chamber can partner in creating an economic development framework for the upcoming county general plan process.
The Trinity County Chamber advocates for its countywide members in county, state, and federal issues that impact all of its members. Board meetings are held the second Wednesday of odd-numbered months at 6:30 p.m. Members are always welcome.
