This timid little man is Bandit. Bandit is an approximately 2-year-old male Aussie/Jack Russell Terrier mix. Bandit is part of a large group of dogs who came to the shelter in December after the death of their owner left them with no one to care for them. We have been working with the group on socialization but they still have some ways to go as prior to their transfer to the shelter they had little contact with new people and had never been off their home property. The right home for Bandit is with a family or person who will be understanding of his fears and limitations as he learns a new way of living. Bandit loves a soft bed and likes to snuggle with his kennel mate. Until Bandit settles in to his new life he will be at risk of becoming a runaway so a secure fence is required. If you are interested in adoption, or would like more information, call the shelter at 623-1370. The shelter is closed to walk-in traffic due to COVID-19 protocols. Please call to schedule an appointment.
