Looking for a Home

Meet Wednesday and Pugsley! These two skittish little kids were trapped in the Peanut area after they turned up at a property there.  The finders were very worried about such small dogs being loose in such a wild area. They are Chihuahua/Terrier mixes, approximately 1 year old. Wednesday is a female and she has more brown on her face and nose. Pugsley is a male and he is slightly larger than his sister.  Both are sweet and have been cooperative with handlers through MANY baths to rid them of fleas, but they remain skittish and difficult to catch in an open area. They will need a home with a very secure yard and people with the patience to gain their trust while they adjust to a new environment. If you would like more information on these two call the shelter at 623-1370. Due to COVID-19 the shelter is doing adoptions by appointment only. Please call to go over adoption qualifications and schedule.
